What makes Little Beats different from other baby/toddler classes?
At Little Beats, we combine early childhood development with dance and music to create a positive approach to learning. Our curriculums include research-based methods that will stimulate all areas of your young child's growth including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and language. We also introduce dance in a gender-neutral way that comes natural to little ones and helps build their confidence above all. Most importantly, grown-ups play an active role in Little Beats classes as their child's movement models and movement makers. Grown-ups will learn new ways they can engage with their child at home while also building a healthy bond together in class.
How long is the session and what if I don't want to commit?
Sessions vary but are typically 6-12 weeks long. We strongly encourage committing to a session because consistency and repition will optimize your child's learning during this rapid time of growth in his/her life. We also know life with a baby or tot is unpredictable which is why we offer unlimited make-up classes within the same session (space permitting).
How will this class benefit my child?
It is a fact that babies instinctually pick up on musical stimuli and their bodies start to dance before they can even talk. In Little Beats classes, we leverage this natural inclination and use it to foster all types of learning in a fun and interactive way. Here are some of our favorite resources that can help you understand how your children is growing and can benefit from Little Beats along the way.
What is the missed class and make up policy?
We know life with a baby or tot is unpredictable which is why we allow you to make up any missed classes by attending any virtual class throughout the session as long as it has space. Make-up classes DO NOT transfer over to future sessions. If you will be missing class, contact dani@siagel.com to let us know and plan a make up.
Can I bring more than 1 child to class?
Can I drop in to class instead of signing up for the session?
Drop-in's are sometimes available depending on the class. To find out if a class is available for drop-in, contact dani@siagel.com. Drop-in's are $30.
Is there a discount if I take more than one class or enroll more than one child?
Yes! If you sign up for two classes or if you enroll two children, you will recieve a $50 discount - only valid for two Little Beats classes; not valid if you have one child in TDA and one child in Little Beats.
Attire:
Our Grown-up-&-me classes are an INTERACTIVE experience for both the little ones AND their caregivers so all should dress for the workout. Little ones in stretchy clothing or leotard and leggings (bare feet necessary) and adults also in comfy/workout clothes!

Can I bring more than 1 child to class?
- If your second child is an older sibling: We discourage bringing any siblings who will need your attention or be a distraction to the dancer who’s trying the class. Parent participation is very important in the Baby and Tykes class as the little ones will look to their parent to be a movement model and partner in the class. Older siblings are not permitted to attend class on a regular basis unless they are registered. We do offer $20 off second class registration and that includes second children.
- If your second child is a baby: Again, we want to minimize all distractions to our students during class so baby siblings must be strapped to parent in a carrier or in a carseat so grown-ups hands and body are free to dance! Infant siblings allowed as long as parent has two hands and body available.
- WE DO HAVE A SIBLING OR SECOND CLASS DISCOUNT: SIGN UP FOR 2 CLASS OR SIGN UP TWO CHILDREN OR MORE AND RECEIVE $50 OFF.
