A loving introduction to foundational technique in an imaginative, relaxed, and confidence-building environment.
Current Classes
Tutu Tykes (ages 1.5-3)
Tutu Tots (ages 2.5-4)
First Steps Ballet (ages 3-4.5) *drop-off
Promoting early childhood learning through:
Emotional and social learning through strategic class structure
Repetitive motor skill, coordination, and rhythm practice
Supports healthy attachment between caregiver and child working towards class independence
Self-esteem building exercises and cooperative activities
Language development through expressive communication, movement literacy, and basic dance terminology
Creative thinking and problem-solving exercises
Leotard or tight-fitting top
Pink tights or tight-fitting black pants
Pink or black leather ballet slippers
Tutu optional
Grown-ups will be asked to take off shoes, workout clothes encouraged
Clothing can be purchased at Dancer's Image in Newton.
