Expert Spotlight: Sammy Brown, Occupational Therapist from Wellesley Pediatric OT

At Little Beats, our founder, Emily Jabbawy, was inspired by the powerful role the principals of occupational therapy play in early childhood development. Emily’s vision for Little Beats has always focused helping children develop motor skills, sensory regulation, and cognitive abilities in a fun, supportive environment.

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Sammy Brown, an Occupational Therapist from Wellesley Pediatric Occupational Therapy (WPOT), for a special Open Play session. Sammy’s answered questions about developmental milestones and the field of occupational therapy for LB caregivers.

Wellesley Pediatric Occupational Therapy (WPOT) is a trusted local practice dedicated to helping children develop motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and functional independence. The team at WPOT, including Sammy, uses engaging activities to support children’s development in areas like fine and gross motor coordination, handwriting, social skills, and self-care routines.
