Adaptive dance classes provide engaging, joyful, and high quality movement instruction for children ages 5-10 with disabilities including down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Support, encouragement, and positive relationships promote learning!

​Students enrolled in adaptive dance will experience physical, social, and emotional benefits including:
  • improved balance, posture, and alignment
  • enhanced spatial awareness
  • improved coordination
  • development of musicality
  • knowledge of dance concepts, techniques, and vocabulary
  • increased focus and attention
  • enhanced creativity
  • increased self-expression and self-confidence
  • time to practice cooperation and collaboration with peers and a group
  • development of positive relationships with peers and staff
  • experience of an in-studio performance

  • Cost: $300/child (10-week session); $240/child (8-week session)​​
  • 8-week Spring session from April 9th-June 11th (no class April 16th or May 28th)
  • Prorated sessions available for mid-season registration if capacity ​​​allows
  • ​$50 discount if you are enrolling 2 children
  • For families registered for more than one class or student, payment plans available
  • Intake form will be completed before the start of the session to ensure that this class is an appropriate fit

​This custom class is created by Holly Olson
 who has a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Expressive Arts Therapy. Holly has trained in several methods including Rainbowdance, Intellidance, Boston Ballet's Adaptive Dance Training Program, and Accessible Yoga. Using her collective knowledge from the best in the field, Holly brings us a one-of-a-kind, thoughtful, and research-based approach to engage children with diverse needs with music, dance, art, and play. Most importantly, she teaches with authentic passion and a heart FULL of love for her students.
